Tiffany L. Harvey, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Tiffany L. Harvey, Au.D. earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Gallaudet University in 2007.  She earned a bachelor’s degree (B.S.Ed. with high honors) in communication disorders from the University of Virginia in 2003, where she learned American Sign Language, was active in the Deaf community, and served as a co-chair for the DEAFS (Deafness Education and Awareness for Students) club.

Dr. Harvey holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association, and is fully licensed in Washington, DC and Virginia. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and served on the Academy’s Publications Committee from 2006-2008.  Dr. Harvey gained clinical experience in a wide variety of settings during her training.  She has worked in all environments, from elementary schools to private practices, and has held local internships at Johns Hopkins and Georgetown University Hospital, as well as a fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.  Dr. Harvey has received several awards for her work in the field, including a Cosmos Club Foundation’s Grant to Young Scholars in 2005 and a Research Writing Award from Gallaudet’s Graduate School in 2007.

Dr. Harvey utilizes comprehensive audiologic and vestibular diagnostic test batteries, including evoked potential testing, hearing aid fittings, and informational counseling in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of hearing and balance disorders.  Her patients encompass the entire life span, from infants to geriatrics.
